The highlight of “20 Jahre Radialsystem” is a grand Open House. Between the Spree, the terrace, the meadow, the hall, and the studio, we will celebrate with picnics, a family programme, workshops, performances, and musical interludes for all to discover. From late morning onwards, the grounds will be turned into an open space for encounters between visitors of all ages.

From late morning onwards, the grounds will be turned into an open space for encounters between visitors of all ages.
Together with the family programme “Schrumpf!”, Renae Shadler presents a site-specific version of her performance “Greyline”, developed especially for the grounds of Radialsystem. Children and families can discover the work of the Sasha Waltz & Guests children’s and youth dance company and explore playful approaches to movement and dance in a workshop led by the company. In Sandhya Daemgen's “What's that Noise? Family Edition”, families can go hunting for sounds, while games and activities offer further opportunities to explore the building. A picnic by the Spree, hosted together with artists and communities connected to Radialsystem and accompanied by music from NICO AND THE NAVIGATORS, invites to linger, exchange ideas, and get to know one another.
On the Deck, Xavier Le Roy presents extracts of his new performative exhibition “Temporary Title, 2026 - In the Middle, Somewhat Rehearsed” for the first time. In a walk-in setting made from movement, sound, and presence, new relationships between performers, space, and audience are continually emerging.
Over the course of the day, workshops, lecture performances and conversations gather different perspectives on bodies, knowledge and artistic practice, including formats from the series UNEXPECTED LESSONS – Knowledges of Body and Sound. The “In C” workshop by Sasha Waltz & Guests will also give children, families, and curious souls the chance to get moving themselves. The evening will be ushered in by a sundowner overlooking the Spree, followed by a special performance of the eminent choreography “In C” with Sasha Waltz & Guests, accompanied by Acid Pauli and other musical guests. Afterwards, we’ll dance the night away together.

20 Jahre
