At the end of the year, the Stegreif orchestra extends an invitation to two evenings of the concert "feel:free" at the place of its founding ten years ago. As part of the anniversary series "10 Jahre Stegreif" (English: "10 years of Stegreif") in 2025, the orchestra will travel through its history with five programmes at various venues, arriving at Radialsystem with a musical invitation on 30 and 31 December.

The joy of making music, full of energy and emotion: The Stegreif ensemble breaks with traditional spatial concepts and the usual conventions of classical concerts and explores new and unexpected arrangements in which music can be experienced and rediscovered.

The focus of the concert evening, "feel:free," is the atmosphere in the moment of making music and the opportunity to feel orchestral music in all its tenderness and strength – for the first time or anew. The programme includes works by both well-known and lesser-known composers: Wilhelmine von Bayreuth, Clara Schumann, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, and Edward Elgar's "Enigma Variations". Stegreif also presents original compositions and improvisations that the audience can accompany and actively participate in.

10 years of Stegreif
In 2025, Stregreif– The Improvising Symphony Orchestra celebrates its 10th anniversary and extends an invitation to the concert series "10 Jahre Stegreif" (English: "10 years of Stegreif"). With five special programmes and ten concerts in Berlin, Stegreif celebrates a decade of musical innovation, freedom, revolution and the joy of play. The anniversary series "10 Jahre Stegreif" (English: "10 years of Stegreif") shows the versatility and creativity of the ensemble and takes the audience on a journey through its musical past and present. The individual programmes are primarily reprisals from the orchestra's repertoire and show different facets of its work – from innovative ideas and the intimacy of chamber music to improvisation and unique reinterpretations of classical works. For Stegreif, the anniversary series is not just a retrospective of the last ten years but also an invitation to look to the future together: to celebrate with the ensemble, to laugh, to marvel and to experience how classical music can always be reimagined - without sheet music, without a conductor, without chairs.
