Within the program Body Time Space, Radialsystem offers two individual or group residencies for Berlin-based dance artists in 2027.
The aim of the residencies is to enable dance professionals to develop and deepen their existing artistic focus in a protected environment. The program acknowledges that time and space are essential for artistic development and stands for an openness towards the artistic process. Therefore, the residency should be understood as a space for experimentation at its very early stages – independent from a concrete production project.
During the residency, the artists are also invited to reflect on their own work in transdisciplinary exchange with dialogue partners from other fields of knowledge and/or artistic disciplines. The process can be opened to the public in the context of studio visits, showings, workshops, or exhibitions in the studios of Radialsystem. In addition to a scholarship, the residents can receive technical support, dramaturgical assistance and production or press/marketing advice from the staff of Radialsystem.
