The New York group “Bang on a Can All-Stars” are globally renowned for their highly dynamic live performances and recordings of the most innovative music. The sextet transgresses the boundaries between classical, jazz, rock and world and experimental music. On 11 December they bring classics from their repertoire to Berlin in a concert at radialsystem: the programme features works by Michael Gordon David Lang, Julia Wolfe, Meredith Monk and Steve Martland, as well as the premiere of a new piece by the Berlin-based US-American composer Nick Dunston.

The concert follows the performance “In C” on the same evening by dance company Sasha Waltz & Guests – a colourful excursion into the world of minimal music, which is to be held in December 2021 and accompanied with live music for the first time by “Bang on a Can All-Stars”.
